By accessing or using the zelpman website, mobile application or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Our Role

zelpman is a marketplace platform that connects customers with independent service providers for handyman, electrical, plumbing, cleaning and related home services. We facilitate bookings and communication, but the actual service is carried out by third-party professionals or partner companies.

2. User Account

To book services, you may need to create an account with accurate details such as your name, mobile number and email address. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure.
  • All activity performed using your account.
  • Not sharing your account with others or impersonating another person.

3. Bookings & Services

When you place a booking, you agree to provide correct service details, photos (if requested), address and preferred time slot. We try to honour your preferred timing, but actual timings may vary based on provider availability, traffic and other conditions.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking due to non-availability of professionals, incorrect address, unsafe location or other reasonable reasons. We will attempt to inform you promptly where possible.

4. Pricing & Payment

Prices shown in the app or website may be:

  • Fixed package prices for standard services.
  • Estimated prices subject to on-site inspection and final confirmation.

Final payable amount may change based on actual work scope, materials required and time taken. The professional should inform you of any significant change before starting additional work wherever possible.

You agree to pay all charges related to the services you use, using the available options such as UPI, card, wallet or cash (where supported). Some services may require advance payment or a visit fee.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booking through the app/website, subject to our cancellation policy. In certain cases, a cancellation fee may apply, for example if a professional has already travelled to your location or significant time has been blocked.

zelpman also reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to reasons including, but not limited to, provider unavailability, unsafe conditions or technical issues.

6. Service Quality & Responsibilities

We make reasonable efforts to onboard experienced and verified service providers. However, as they are independent contractors:

  • zelpman does not directly supervise how services are performed.
  • Any issues, damages or disputes during service are primarily between you and the service provider.

You agree to:

  • Provide safe access to the service location.
  • Not request illegal, unsafe or prohibited work.
  • Monitor children, pets and valuables during service and take reasonable precautions.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the platform to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Post or transmit harmful, abusive or misleading content.
  • Attempt to interfere with the platform’s security or performance.
  • Use another person’s account without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, zelpman, its owners, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of our platform or services.

Our total aggregate liability for any direct damages, if established, shall be limited to the amount of service fees paid by you for the specific booking in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, design elements and content on the zelpman website and app are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

10. Changes to the Platform

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the website, app or services at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance, upgrades or other operational reasons.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to these Terms.
